As Founder & CEO of Wellness Tourism Worldwide, Camille oversees the development and strategy of an international trade organization whose mission is improving well-being and economic growth through travel. She holds a dual role as principal of Global Spa and Wellness, a consultancy focusing on emerging shifts and convergences related to healthcare, wellness and tourism. Having performed strategic planning and directed both operations and marketing for the healthcare and wellness industries, her career has spanned and linked physicians, hospitals, medical spas and wellness destinations worldwide for nearly twenty years. Launching her career in hospital management, she was responsible for business development, marketing, public relations, physician relations, community outreach and health promotion. Ms. Hoheb later held executive positions with several healthcare franchise companies and succeeded in the rapid growth of tens of medical practice start ups.

Rachel Permuth-Levine PhD, MSPH
Senior Director, Workplace Solutions, Sodexo


As the Senior Director of Research for toLive, a quality of life solution by Sodexo, Rachel facilitates the creation of optimal workplace experiences.   Her specialties are in human capital development and planning, workspace design and human behavior, and workplace health promotion.  She was formerly the Director of the NHLBI Center for Employee Wellness and Health Promotion at the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI) of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). She received her doctorate in Public and Community Health from University of Maryland and her Master of Science in Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of South Florida.

Hathaway’s 15-year career in the spa and wellness industry has been punctuated by several remarkable achievements, with more than 50 countries of travel behind him. He served as aprofit task force leader on the Asia Pacific Spa and Wellness Coalition – a volunteer committee
dedicated to raising the standards of spas within 41 Asian countries. He has also worked with Cornell University and the University of Houston to devise modules for the first ever spa managerdegree at Bali’s STP University in Nusa Dua.

The Center for Medical Tourism Research is the first academic center devoted to research of the Medical Tourism industry.  In his previous careers, Dr. Vequist was a Human Resources executive at a joint venture with HCA and a management consultant for Ernst & Young, LLP.  He received his Ph.D. and Masters from the University of Tulsa and his B.S. from Northern Arizona University.  Dr. Vequist is a well-known thought leader, author, speaker, and presenter on the subject of health/wellness/medical/retirement tourism around the world.

She has trained spa professionals around the word, owned a skin care distribution company and been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who. Fuller is the Founder of the National Aesthetic Spa Network, and is passionate about building relationships, developing partnerships, mentoring and networking to create a stronger industry

Prof. Dr. Zeki Karagulle
President, TURKSPA (Turkish Association of Spa Thalasso and Health Resorts)

Dr. Karagulle is a professor of medicine and the director of the Department of Medical Ecology and Hydroclimatology at Istanbul Medical faculty of Istanbul University.  Aside from directing undergraduate and post-graduate education and training programs, Karagulle has published research articles and has written and edited books and chapters on the therapeutic benefits of spa therapy, balneotherapy, and health resort medicine.  Karagulle has been president of the Turkish Association of Spa Thalasso and Health Resorts (TURKSPA) since 2005 and President of the International Society of Medical Hydrology Climatology (ISMH) since 2008.  He has participated in a number of symposiums, panel discussions, and workshops on spa and health resort medicine, medical hydroclimatology and balneology, and health, spa and wellness topics.
